“Every8Minutes National Campaign”

“Every8Minutes National Campaign”, 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence was launched in a Programme held at CIT guest house conference hall, Kokrajhar on 25th November, 2016. The one day District Level Consultation on Child Marriage and Child Trafficking from Kokrajhar was graced by various dignitaries, duty bearers and concern citizens from various parts of the district. It was launched by Pratiba Brahma Editor of Bibungthi, The Opinion. The National Campaign started from 25th November to 10th December 2016. Large number of children in BTC are vulnerable and victims of child labour, trafficking, child marriage and other forms of violence and exploitation. Such issues are of special concern in the areas disturbed by various unrests, the conflict affected areas, where communities are socially and economically deprived. The Missing Campaign shall cover the four districts of Bodoland Territorial Council targeting more than 3,00,000 population of these area. “Walk for Freedom”
